he's well worth a 7th round pick but because he's worth it....we wont get him.....we will end up picking a qb or something dumb like that....i agree tho....he wouldnt be ready to play this year but he could study under the great guru that aaron stecker is and become a great special teams player or that 4th and inches guy that we need

No, if we go for a running back, let's get one out of the SEC. BenJarvis Green-Ellis out of Ole Miss is from New Orleans and would be a good fit and will be available in the later rounds. He ran for 1000 yards a year for Ole Miss which had very little blocking and no passing attack to keep defenses from stacking the line. Playing against SEC defenses also prepares you for NFL speed.

Green-Ellis reminds me a lot of Pierre Thomas.

who we already have so we dont need him lol.....what we need is a solid strong back....speed is something that wouldnt play into us drafting a back....we have the speed...we need a pound it out runner and i think we will find him somewhere in the later rounds.....somebody who doesnt fumble and can get 2 yards everytime he touches the ball....we dont need the explosive runner because we have that....duece is hurt too much and his role is the beater....u beat the ball inside and then flank it or sweep with reggie....dueces job is in jeopardy

Thanks! I really think this is Deuce's last year and that he really just came back because he said he would. We need to be grooming his replacement and that replacement will have to be ok with sharing running duties with Reggie. Those Ole Miss guys seem to know how to be team players.
FYI, I'm not an Ole Miss homer. I went to LSU. My second choice would be Jacob Hester.
