Buzz...There is growing speculation that the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons may strike a draft-day deal if the Rams select LSU DT Glenn Dorsey with the second overall pick...the Saints want to move up in the draft to land either Dorsey or USC DT Sedric Ellis, while the latest buzz is the Falcons will be willing to move down in the draft if Dorsey is taken by the Rams.

That makes no sense. Why would the Falcons help NO get Ellis, or Dorsey for that matter? To get Ryan at #10?

I don't think Ryan will be there at 10 either.

I am not convinced that the Rams are going to snag Dorsey at 2. Not buying it but trading back to 10 for them might mean missing out on another guy they want more. I am sure they are doing some soul searching on this one.

Also if you want a DT and you are faced with Dorsey or Ellis then you are in great shape where you are sit tight and wait.

I think what you have to do is really look at what is being said and the possibilities... there are a lot of smoke screens going up right now and teams trying to make the cost of there pic worth more by spreading rumours.

How do you like this smoke screen. What if the Falcons say - We are trading with the Saints if Rams take Dorsey. Hinting at Rams to take Dorsey or might be best to trade with Saints yourself... meanwhile just so the Falcons can make sure the guy they plan on getting is still there. A lot of things going on right now. Basically we are just going to have to wait till Saturday.

i said the same thing in another thread.. ellis will still be around at 5 n i think thy r lookin to move down

A new coach and GM and you trade your pick to your number 1 rival? The Falcons get enough bad press; I don't see this happening.

They also have 11 picks. Eventually take will need to stop trading and actually draft someone.
