this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; the value picks i know hagan talked of as well as a few others, are they holding on and not trading or did i miss a trade?...

Smith Sun, 27 Apr 2008 09:36:06 -0700 Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com, reports the Detroit Lions moved up two spots to leapfrog the St. Louis Rams in the third round to pick RB Kevin Smith, possibly because of something Smith told the Rams over dinner. Smith was in St. Louis for an interview, and he was asked over dinner where he would be a good fit and what team he thought he would play for. Smith told the Rams "Detroit." There was a possibility the Rams knew the Lions would take Smith in the third round, which caused Detroit to move up. |
