I think people miss the point of a mock draft. Generally speaking they're telling you who the teams SHOULD pick as opposed to who they will pick. So the more relevant statistic would be performance of the players that they ranked highly, and how the teams are doing with the guys they took.
As for Mel, love him or hate him, he's part of the draft, just like Hank Jr is part of MNF. And when he says you're the best at your position, you just made a few extra hundred grand, at least. |
