Whatever happened to Rondell Mealey
 

I recently read an article about Ki-Jana Carter losing a roster spot to Rondell Mealey last year in green bay. For some reason I had Kind of forgot about this old Tiger.. What did he do to fall out of favor with Mike sherman and every other nfl head coach. At one point last year he was the #2 back in green bay but a few weeks into the season the Pack cut him. I was just wondering if anyone knew why he exited the nfl so quickly.
I was surprised he's not even in an nfl camp.......any Ideas of where he might be.................................besides your local McDonalds

Rondell Mealey was a great running back in college for LSU. Always behind somebody on the depth chart such as Kevin Faulk, but when called upon he always delivered. Ran tough, downhill, always falling forward for extra yardage. He is only 26 years old. He got cut abruptly last year into the regular season by Green Bay. Haven\'t heard his whereabouts since. We shouldn\'t have to look far. His home town is New Orleans, La. Somebody call that boys mama and get him into camp. He may have more upside in street clothes today than the backups we have on the roster now. You can find his bio on nflplayers.com .....................................................................His most interesting stat is on Defense where he is credited for recovering a fumble and returning it 27 yards for a touchdown in 2001. It must have been on special teams.

If he injured? No

Can he play? Yes

What else could there be....being held back by whitey? No

Maybe has a attitude problem or something worse.
