Re: saints traded to get in the 7th round

"Has been suspended on more than one occasion and in 2006 was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence following an argument with his girlfriend".

To be fair;

YPSILANTI, Mich. — Michigan wide receiver Adrian Arrington has been cleared of a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 13 incident in which his girlfriend, Jodie Hupe, told police that Arrington snatched the keys to her sport utility vehicle and drove away.

Arrington, a 20-year-old junior, was scheduled to go on trial Monday in Ypsilanti. But prosecutors dismissed the charge Thursday at what was scheduled to be a pretrial conference.

The charge was dismissed because Judge Kirk Tabbey insists that civilian complainants appear at such hearings to make sure they will show up at the trial, Washtenaw County assistant prosecutor Steve Hiller said Friday. He said Hupe did not appear despite receiving notice of the hearing.

"In domestic violence cases, this is not an unusual thing to have happen," he said.

Arrington could have faced up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

According to a police report, Hupe said she picked up Arrington from a bar after she finished work and they got into an argument. Arrington grabbed Hupe's keys and pushed her out of the vehicle and drove off, the report said.

However, the report said she did not want to press charges and only was concerned about Arrington driving because he had been drinking.

Arrington was an absolute beast in that Bowl game against Florida he had something like 9 catches for 150 yards.

Wow, this is great news. I turned off the draft because I thought it was over for us. What are we gonna do with all these recievers we have now. someone pointed it out earlier in a reply.

Am I the only one that loves the fact we traded in just in front of the Bucs. I know that was there pick. They took the entire 7 minutes to pick after us and got booed by the crowd. I was dieing. LOL

Talk about sending a message to Meachem as well with the pick.

this definitely was the icing on the cake for this draft.

now problem is:
colston,
meachem,
patten,
henderson,
arrington,
copper,
skylar green,
lance moore
Patten was solid and provides leadership & tutoring, so I think he is safe
Meachem gets the free pass again
Henderson better be working out right now- he is the most ex$pendable
Copper/Moore- ST play will decide if either makes it- Porter puts both their jobs on the line
Arrington and Green can both be dynamic, but I think AA has the edge.
I can't see carrying 6 WR's and 4 RB's, plus Karney
