NFL Preseason Preview - New Orleans (1-1) at San Francisco (2-0)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Brian Gillespie, NFL Contributing Writer

(Sports Network) - A pair of former NFC West rivals will get a preseason look at each other Saturday night, when the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers face-off at 3COM Park.

The 49ers have an unblemished record after two preseason games, including last week's 14-10 win over Bay area rival Oakland. Rookie QB Ken Dorsey threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Matt Stanley with 2:19 remaining in the fourth quarter to lift the 49ers to the win. Dorsey, who is battling Brandon Doman for the third spot on the depth chart, finished just 6-of-15 for 47 yards for the 49ers. Doman tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Cedrick Wilson in the victory. Tim Rattay, who got the start because Jeff Garcia continues to be hampered with back spasms, was only 4-of-11 for 33 yards. Garcia is likely to see limited action in this contest. Starting running back Garrison Hearst continues to be sidelined with an Achilles injury. Carrying the load with Hearst on the shelf has been the duo of Kevan Barlow and Jamal Robertson. Barlow rushed for 29 yards on eight carries last week, while Robertson added 27 yards on eight attempts.

New Orleans tallied its first preseason win last week, defeating the New York Jets, 22-17, at Giants Stadium. Backup QBs Todd Bouman and J.T. O'Sullivan each tossed second-half touchdowns to help the Saints post the win. Starter Aaron Brooks completed 9-of-16 passes for 88 yards, while Bouman went 9-for-13 for 81 yards in the win. All-Pro RB Deuce McAllister ran 11 times for 45 yards for the Saints, while Boo Williams and Curtis Keaton each hauled in a touchdown catch. DE Darren Howard left the game late in the first quarter with a right knee bruise and did not return. Howard will likely miss the rest of the preseason. Second-year wideout Donte Stallworth, who caught two passes for 18 yards last week, is questionable for this contest with the flu and a hamstring injury.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: San Francisco 23, New Orleans 10

I watched the game between Frisco and the Raiders. Neither team impressed me alot. When Dorsey made the TD pass to win the game, the 49er coaches acted is if they had just won the superbowl, made me sick.

i don\'t know about anyone else but i still bare a deep hatred for our old division rivals and would be ecstatic if we gave them a good thrashing, i don\'t care if it is just preseason
