bubble players?

What is the word from the local outlets as to Cie grant? Is he going to make the team or what? I have not heard a single word about the guy all camp other then he was injured.

It appears JT is winning the #3 battle. Is ther going to be a spot for woodberry?

Who are the players that have to have a good game this week to survive tuesdays cut?

I dont think Cie Grant is going to get cut. He has way too much speed and athleticism. A 4.3 40 and the ability to play several positions should earn him a spot.

I agree with Billy, Cie has way too much up side to be cut. Being that he was a 3rd round pick and he has been injured I believe the Saints will definitely keep him

other players which I believe may be on the bubble
1.D. Sloan- injury prone and the saints have a few capable TE\'s including Z. Hilton
2.Steve Gleason= gleason is a special teams standout but can the saints keep 5 safety\'s I think he is #5 after tebucky, m. mitchell, j. bellamy, m. hawthorne
3.Talman gardner= they say he has improved of late but he may be destined for the Practice squad
4. James Fenderson=I wouldnt be surprised if the saints acquire another rb through waivers or a trade. If this happens Fenderson may be gone

Rick Venturi recently had this to say about Cie,

And he didn\'t count out rookie Cie Grant, either.

\"I thought Ruff played good Monday night against Philadelphia,\" Venturi said. \"Cie Grant\'s first shot, outstanding for a kid who hasn\'t had much practice. That\'s why we\'ve got all three guys in here. They all bring something to the team. Things could change over the course of the season.\"

Venturi said that all three linebacker prospects, Smith, Ruff and Grant, will play this season.
