So far so good. To lose to the Bills wouldn't be shocking. It is the Saints afterall. LOL. A solid win today, which I expect, will go along way in regards to how the rest of the world see's the Saints. I prefer being taken lightly. But trust me, the other teams in the NFL don't take Brees and company lightly. Who Dat!

I'm more worried about the officiating... man there has been some horrendous officiating today around the NFL.

Good point. Today in particular. I was not impressed with the crew in Buffalo today. I suspect neither was Payton.

Re: I'm fed up...

Eric Allen on Monday Morning QB of ESPN News honestly summarized how to the media feel about teams like the Saints. I've been watching the highlights since last night, and of course the only thing the media can discuss about the Saints total dismantling of the Bills is TO and his press conference. Not that we're 3-0. Not the 220+ yards rushing. Only a small mention of the fact that the defense DID NOT ALLOW A POINT TO BE SCORED!. Just TO and his complaining. Allen referred to this, but it applies to the Saints just as effectively. In response to Q. Ismail if TO will divide the Bills locker room.

I don't think this team is high profile enough to have this type of drama. If he's a problem in the locker room, we're just going to move on to the next team. He's not in Philly. He's not in Dallas. He's not in San Francisco at the end of their reign. This is a different vibe here. This is Buffalo, a team that hasn't been successful lately. After a couple of games that they lose, we're going to move on. It's not going to be about the Buffalo Bills anymore.
No truer words have even been spoken. You only gets props from the media if you are consistently successful or the opposite.

If the Saints want to put a stamp on this season, the next two weeks are going to be critical. We get the Jets, a high profile team with a hot QB and a loud mouth coach, this coming week. Then after the bye we get the Giants, who will be 5-0 after playing KC and Oakland. We go into and come out of both games undefeated, then for this season, the Saints will have finally hit the big time.

To the media you're a nobody until your consistenly beat a somebody.

Let's go get 'em.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
