Kicking Game

I know it's still a little early, but the Saints kicking game is in very good hands right now. Carney has been great, and Morstead has been getting it done on kickoffs. What in the heck will the Saints do after next week when Hartley is eligible to comeback from his suspension? At this point I cannot see how the Saints can keep two kickers. Obviously, Hartley is a better asset for the long term of the team and can kick longer field goals, as Carney is very reliable from 40 yards and under, but not a long term answer. I guess an easy answer would be to keep Carney for the short stuff and Hartley for the long stuff, but is that really an option, especially since the Saints had to activate a 3rd QB? Any thoughts?

Very impressed with our new punter. Deep kickoffs and he can boom those punts. In hindsight, what a good draft pick lol!

we have a lot of depth now, so I think we have room for a second PK. It will need to be an o-linemen or TE who goes, because no way Sean has the balls to tell Williams that a D-guy is gone.

On the other hand, if Morstead is handling KO's, how much of stretch is it to see him trying an occasional 55 yarder? Carney DID kick one 51 last year.

No kidding. I remember seeing that pick come up on draft day and being pissed off.

In Sean I trust.
