Why give him the ball if he is going to fumble it!!! He wasn't holding the ball correctly for where he was running. He should have rapped it up with both arms going through the line. Sure a lot of teams would have him... then let them. Give us a good draft pick and we can call it a day.

sure reggie can do things with the ball...but pierre is just as efficient and he doesnt fumble. payton took reggie out after that fumble and pierre gutted the jets D on the next drive. After this year his salary takes a huge jump and that money can be used elsewhere. id rather us use the money to keep evans and brown on the o-line.

Well Pierre did fumble, the only difference was that his was recovered. Look at Bush's rushing stats. He had a 6.1 ypc average against one of the best defences in the leauge and made smart cuts to the outside. He is getting stuffed when there is nowhere to run, otherwise he's looking better this year.

In my original post I did not say give up on him . . . I said he needs to get his $hit together or get the hell outta Nawlins! After this game I think with Payton telling Reggie "Are you watching this?" he will address it with Reggie this week if he hasn't already.
