dammmmm, one person answered my question.....this board never ceases to amaze me. i would have bet no one would have...... vent...........it brings out the best in you......i know we have new starters and many new faces, and i also know that we are trying to stay healthy just running through the basics.......was vick going through the basics you might ask? was the guy carter leveled going through the basics? i don\'t deny we need work.......on both sides of the ball........god, if anyone stands out, it\'s lewis.......with the luck of staying healthy, he could break all records to ever come..... a true natural....frightening, is\'nt it? the 49\'s actually starting kicking away from him........he will be feared by all teams.... defensively, how could we be any worse? we were at the bottom last yr and still managed to beat some damn good teams.....i think we\'ll find a way........what we\'re seeing offensively is nothing we\'ll see come the opener.........i still look to see many mistakes, but i also look to see many surprises....... i am ready for football, nothing any of you say will change this.....i am a diehard saints fan and i feel the best i\'ve ever felt about this team in any yr they have ever played..... smitty

I didn\'t read much of this post, but let me just say this - Billy, before you were even a member of this board we had a long conversation about whether this sink was sinking or not. I said yes. I stand behind that. You\'re right, we will see what this season brings, but come January, if the record book says New Orleans Saints - 7-9, I want you to remember who said it now, OK?
