This has been reggies worse year- IMHO. The guy has been beaten out by all of our other RB's, and has a fumbling problem. Worse, is some of the absolute absurd punt returns that go backward, or hey why catch it at all- NM the fumbles. This year he is yet to make an impact. I just don't know what in the world is wrong with him.

How bout this, how bout everyone just lower their expectations for Reggie and then there wont be a problem. If he does good, you can say, wow Reggie had a great game. If not, you can say, well he was average. It was to be expected. Problem solved.

the bad thing is that i did lower my expectations already......all i expected was ball security and continuing his progress as a running back/satellite

he has failed at meeting those low expectations since he cant even continue to do what he has done the past few seasons.......

last year he could change a game single handidly by returning a punt for a TD or at least gaining yardage on a punt return....reggie hasnt done much of anything on special teams and to be honest....im getting nervous just seeing him on the field for fear of him putting the ball on the ground

Im telling you Canton, he's gonna be fine. Dont let them speedo drawers get too tight, and for the love of God, dont git a wooden dingy.

I dont have any real evidence to support why I think he's going to get it together, I just do. I'm using the Force.

i hate him on special teams....there i said it. every time its kicked im worried about a fumble and the opposition is gonna get the ball back with good field position. Im tired of watching him decide to run left/right/backwards before running forward. theres even been a few kicks he shouldve called a fair catch on but instead let the ball bounce over his head giving us worse field position. yeah i realize, hes taken a few to the house, but thats the last thing i think about when i see him returning kicks.

I remember a very similar running back that was not great until later in his career. Tiki Barber was a very similar type of player. Believe me, there is time for Reggie Bush to be great, and he will bounce back from this disaster start. Yes, things could be a lot worse. Had the Saints not signed Drew Brees, Matt Leinart would have been the QB of the New Orleans Saints. Think about that for a second...

Reggie has shown glimpses of greatness - the game against SanFran in his rookie year, and last year's game vs the Vikings stand out in my mind.

As a Saints fan I still have faith that Reggie can someday become Pro-Bowl caliber, his pedestrian performances and fumble problems notwithstanding. A guy at the bar told me I should ditch the Bush jersey and get a Brees uni --- but what he doesn't understand is that fateful week of the NFL draft when Houston went with Mario Williams and the Saints got to pick Bush. It was walking on the clouds, a true sign that things WERE GOING to change. That's the feeling that is tied to that jersey.
