Question - do we play better in the first half of the season or second? That\'s an easy answer. And the reason why is obvious too - COACHING. Our coaches don\'t adjust. They don\'t adjust in game, they don\'t adjust down the stretch.

Let me say I LOVE Mike McCarthy, though I think he could do a little better in the game planning category.

And you\'re also right about one thing - I HATE Venturi - and you should too.

As for Haslett, I liked the guy a lot when he came, but can you honestly say that he\'s been able to identify and fix problems within this team? Has he become more straight-forward in his talk to the press or less?

And let\'s think about the TREND of this team over the last three years.

The offense has gotten progressively better - so it\'s a fairly safe bet to say that will continue, and I believe that it should.

The defense has gotten progressively worse. That won\'t change much.

But go ahead Billy. Tell me I\'m biased against Brooks and Haslett b/c I criticize them. Fine, you\'re wrong, but go ahead. You obviously can\'t think for yourself and simply accept any BS the coaching staff deals out. Right? Did you believe what Ditka said?

Brooks is gonna be a star. Why? He\'s got the physical attributes. Great, so do a million other QBs who never made it. You can\'t show cause to believe that he has the intangibles though - only say nuh uh when we show that he DOESN\'T.

Go ahead man. One question though - if preseason games don\'t count at all, and most of the analysts outside of NO are saying that the Saints didn\'t do enough and predicting 7-9 - what are YOU basing your optimism on other than what the coaches are telling you?
