I get tired of chasing the Brooks bashers all of the board so I'm making this the "Official Aaron Brooks Thread"

We can post all of our opinions about Aaron right here for this season and when the season is over, whoever is wrong will get to come back here and eat some crow.

How ya want your crow served? I'm going to serve it up buffet style. So just form a line and there will be plenty to go around--- :P

Aaron Brooks is the best quarterback to have ever stepped on a football field. I\'m planning on starting a new religion - Brooksianity. Saintfan, BillyC, you guys are in right?

Tell me \"08\", aren\'t you already tasting the buffet? Seems to me your proclamations of A certain QB being handed the starting job in Carolina were a bit premature. I guess you and Whodat are anjoying the appetizer huh?

By the way, BC could NEVER feel either you or Whodat any Bull. You two cornered that market a LONG time ago.

And hey Whodat, \"Brooksianity\" was destined to come along after all you Delhommeites disbanded when the hoax was exposed.

There are plenty of places to find Brooks topics here without too much effort and this one will be just another of many and many more to come.

My official position of AB is he will not be the reason for saints failure if they do fail this year. AB will play like a slightly above average QB. I look for him to be similar to Trent dilfer, he will not lose you a game but he is not going to do anything several other QB\'s could not do either. He is going to annoy the crap out of me with his laid back attitude and smiley face in situations, but I think I can deal with that this year.

Since some of you folks like to look at individual numbers, even though they are often skewed compared to real performance, here is how I think he will finish the year.

32 td\'s, 3200 passing yds, rating of 86. With the offense he has to work with if he does not meet these numbers I think his year will be below average.

I\'ve got a question. During last years game with the Panthers in Charlotte why did Brooks walk off the field with one play to go in the 1st half?

What kills me about the \" Brooks Bashers\" is Aaron has put this team on his back in more than one game and carried them to victory. Yet all I hear is you tellin\' me that he ain\'t no good.

I guess when a person sits down to watch the Saints with the sole purpose of picking out every little mistake Brooks makes- so he can come here and post it, then it\'s hard to see what the man has done on the field. Of course, when I show you stats, you discredit them.

Another thing I don\'t get is Jake Delhomme has had the better part of 10-years to crack the starting line-up for an NFL team and he hasn\'t done it. Yet, Brooks has only been a starter for 3 years and you guys want him to be perfect. I don\'t get it and I never will.

because Hazlett did not give him his pregame BJ and he was going to make sure he had enough time to get it at halftime.

Now considering the results are missing Harrington and Carr who really had poor rookie showings , we will add them to the total though . 37 quarterbacks .

Aaron Brooks finished in the bottom half of the starting quarterbacks in the N.F.L. last season . Quarterbacks with better performances were released from the teams they played for , for doing better .
