KIND OF CLOSE I GUESS
dang! We'll I'll give myself credit for #1, but I'm hitting only 33%. It was fun guessing. North Fwy traffic's getting worse, if you notice. Construction on 610N, is causing backups from about Shepherd in.

"Loop 6?" You mean Hwy 6? its finished.

Loop 610N lost a lane between ella and 45N + they put the TexDot Wall O' Death, and will be messy for months.

Yall can yell @ me for traffic info any time. I have a New Orleans screen, but honestly, its not that great. One of these days I'm gonna make friends with someone at WWL.

I thought they were going to do a loop 8 equivalent and toll 6 all the way around ... we need a quick way around Houston when driving from Austin to Louisiana.

I thought it was 99 (Grand Pkwy) that they were going to toll and put all away around? Or at least from 10 to 290 to 45?

I'm off of 290, and it's going to need something to relieve the traffic that builds more and more as these new communities pop up. As Mike says, it gets "all 290'd up"....LOLOLOL.

So you like the drive on the westbank. this time of year you need to watch out for sugarcane trucks on that route going to the mill.

Oh THAT, yes... Grand Pkwy --99--- but geez its gonna be like going around the Arctic Circle. I think you're just fine taking BW 8-- if you come in from I-10-- take S. Belt to 225/ if you come from 290-- take N. Belt. Its not bad.

Its up and running on the west, and almost done to the east, but connecting thru 146 aint happening. It took my lifetime for them to finish BW 8.

LOL. Its sugar harvest season! All the fires
and dried cane all over the road, but those trucks are easy to pass. My wife & I love driving through the River Parishes, much more scenery, probably
not the short cut, but definitely the stress-free route. One time we got held up by a drawbridge-- actually, I was amused.

Hey yall, I'm probably out for the weekend. Keep the thread going, and yall
get together if you can---Lets make it a party Monday Night! Those of you getting out might consider putting up "yourself" avatars, so you can be recognized at your hangout. Get Your Fan On & Represent!

Hey Hou-Dats, what's up? I for one am sick of these late games; we can never make it to Woodrow's when it's a 3pm game. I need to get back there; there's nothing like pulling for the Saints in a big, Who-Dat crowd!
