Listening the the Bob Delgiorno this am with Drew Brees:

Drew said Car executed well in the beginning but didn't do anything special. Saints started sluggish, short week had an effect but they put too much pressure on themselves and had to settle down.
Mentioned that they know they get every team's best game, most important aspect is to finish games strong.
Defense was phenomenal in 2nd half
DH and Meach stepped up huge

Areas to improve:
Take care of the ball
start fast and opening drive
3rd down conv and red zone killed vs Car

And last but not least:

"We remember what the Rams did to us two years ago and we owe them one"

He has it pinned down. Ugly ugly wins these past few weeks. Way too many TOs. We can get away with it against teams like the Panthers and Rams but come NE and Dallas time its going to really hurt.

I hope we win the coin toss. The last 3 games, if I'm not mistaken, we lose the toss and all hell breaks loose in the first quarter. Maybe that'll help bring the swagger back.

Heck yeah, we owe the Rams big time! That turnover thing really needs to be improved quickly. Overall, if the Saints have played either the Cowboys or Patriots in any of the past three weeks, the Saints would have probably been on the wrong end of a blow out.
