EIGHT-AND-OH Ė boy, that sure has a nice ring to it, doesnít it? I know it sounds awfully good to each and every New Orleans Saints fan.

What may sound even better is the Saintsí upcoming schedule: Sunday at St. Louis, Nov. 22 at Tampa Bay and Dec. 6 at Washington. Oh, and donít forget about the last two games of the year, Dec. 27 at home against the Bucs and Jan. 3 at Carolina.

Definitely not the toughest of schedules the rest of the way, but there are a few things Saints fans should at least keep in mind before their heads get too far into the clouds.
First of all, while Iím on the subject of the teamís remaining schedule, I wouldnít bet on the Saints finishing undefeated. I hope Iím wrong, but I just donít think itís going to happen. The Saints host New England on Nov. 30, and while the Patriots arenít as scary as theyíve been in recent years, theyíre still not a pushover. Not by a long shot.

Then thereís the road game against the Redskins coming off a short week. I think we can all agree that the Saintsí bread and butter is their passing game. Well, donít look now, but the Redskins have the best pass defense in all of football.

Granted, the New York Jets, New York Giants and Panthers are second, third and sixth respectively in passing yards allowed per game, and the Saints beat each one of them. But odds are thereís going to come a day when a teamís defense causes more problems than the 2009 Saints have had to deal with, and the Redskins might just be that defense.

The week after the Redskins, the Saints travel to Atlanta for what is always a tough NFC South matchup. Maybe not as tough as recent years, but it still ought to be tough nonetheless.

After Atlanta, New Orleans hosts Dallas. While the Cowboys looked shaky to begin the season, theyíve come on strong over the past few weeks. The emergence of Miles Austin has certainly helped, and the fact that Jason Witten could come alive at any moment is surely a scary thought.

Just to give an idea of how dangerous the Cowboys offense has become, it is currently ranked fourth in the NFL in yards per game. And itís pretty balanced, as theyíre sixth in the league in passing yards per game and eighth in rushing yards a game.

Re: It won't be easy for Saints to go undefeated

To go undefeated depends on injuries going down the stretch. In my opinion the tough games will be NE and Carolina again. I think we we will confuse the Hell out of Dallas but it will be close. The one team that historically has been a problem is Washington. They gave Denver a shock today and are starting to get some offense. I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about that game. Maybe having GW on our side will tilt the table.

This was an excellent bit of information. A lot of folks are looking past everyone in our division. That could come back to bite us in the butt. Atalnta and Carolina may not look good but they will play us tough.

This was in the SI online column by Banks "It's the nature of the beast, though. From here on out, everybody's playing their Super Bowl against New Orleans.

I am begging for a win by the Bucs, as it could be the one game we build off of all the way til next season.
All for New Orleans kicking ass the rest of the season, NFC South looks better then
