There's not a snowballs chance in hell he goes on IR. Zero, Zilch, Nada, None. I'll take Porter at 80% over anyone else we have at 100%

hmmm... let's see...

he didn't tear a ligament, therefore he can come back healthy in 4-6 weeks,
vs.
he tore a ligament, now he needs knee surgery, 9 months of rehab, and there's a chance he will not be the same player he was before the tear.

... hmmm...I don't know.. tough call...

Excellent time to give Malcolm Jenkins some experience. Mckenzie wouldn't be a terrible, though I think Jenkins has more upside. Right now we are 3 games ahead of Dallas/Arizona for a first round bye with 7 games to go. 1 game ahead of Minnesota for home field advantage. If the Vikings went perfect from here on out I'd be completely shocked. The injuries are bad, and yes adjustments need to be made, but being 9-0 affords us the opportunity to try some things that we wouldn't normally do. I mean yes, home-field advantage would be amazingly awesome, so going perfect would be extremely nice, but we have some lead-way to work some things out.

Glad it is not more serious but it is still a blow and because Usama was the one who caused the injury is even worse. Blank Happens. Part of the reason this team was so successful was our secondary and Gay is not a Greer and was exposed yesterday. We got a lot more problems now and if Sharper and Greer do not make it back soon we are going to lose some games right quick. Above all else what is going on with Brees? He just does not look sharp to me.

At least we aren't going to see Joey "Thanks Saints for extending my career by 5 years" Galloway next week with a depleted secondary. When is Sharper returning???

When a team gives an estimated time of injury recovery they factor everything in, including the time to get back on the field in shape. They wouldn't say someone would be ready in 6 weeks when they aren't gonna be ready or at least expect them to. He still has two arms and a leg. He'll be back on his feet moving fluidly in a few weeks. They hire the training staff for a reason.

Brees looks just fine to me. Those two picks were Shockey's fault. Both of them.

And how does Brees look if Colston doesn't idiotically try and leap into the end zone instead of just barrelling his way in on a smaller defender? I guess he thinks since Reggie is allowed to do it, he should be allowed to do it as well.
