This one is for all member review and comment , everyone is gonna count here if this one is gonna fly .The latest in the 08 campaigns with the N.F.L.

Here is what I am proposing :

In memory of a great fan and a musician that has certainly emboddied the city of New Orleans and the New Orleans Saints , I propose the following .

1. A Horn be suspended directly above the gondolla in plain sight for all to see , as a tribute to a great man and those that followed the Saints in the early days .

2. When the Saints score a touchdown , a tune is played . Similar to the guns on the pirate ship at the Buccaneers home games .

Note : At no time can the Horn be replaced with Joe Horn if he drops a few balls . A note for those special kind of thinkers ;)

I\'m all for the organization doing something for the long suffering Saints fans. Name another team in the NFL who\'s fans have been so patient and stood behind their team like we have. I\'m not really sure if there are any teams in any sport that have such dedicated fans.

I think for sure something should be done for Al. For so many years he was a part of the Saints. He, like a few of us still left, was there from the first day of the first training camp. If not physically at least in spirit.

Not a bad idea. They need something. I was in the dome the other night and I noticed that Tulane had more banners hanging up than the Saints.

Heck NO!! If Al would not have instigated so much partying with saints players, keeping them up all night getting drunk and all, the saints might have won more games back in da day.

Seriously now, something like his horn hanging over midfield would be cool. maybe that would take the hex off the team? Maybe everytime the saints take the field they would see that horn and remind them of the teams failures over the years and inspire the players to play for something just a little more than a win that day.
