My 7 week forecast
 

IMO, 11 teams in the NFC still have a shot at the postseason:

Saints 9-0
Vikings 8-1
Cowboys, Cardinals 6-3
Eagles, Giants, Packers, Falcons 5-4
Bears, Panthers, 49ers 4-5


And here's how I see the season finishing up:


Saints 14-2 : Loss to Atlanta (who'll be desperate to stay in the playoff race) and Carolina (we rest starters after clinching HFA in week 16)

Vikings 13-3 : Loss to Arizona and Cincinnati.

Cardinals 12-4 : Loss to Titans (who are playing much better). Rest of schedule is easy other than Vikings.

Cowboys 10-6 : Three game skid in December with losses to Chargers, Giants and Saints.

Falcons 10-6 : After losing this week to the Giants, the dirty birds circle the wagon. Only other loss is to Tampa at the end of the year when they are resting starters because they have clinched the #5 seed and can do no better/worse regardless of the last game.

Giants 9-7 : Losses to Cowboys, Broncos and Vikings (who will NOT rest starters so that they can get bye week instead of Cardinals). Finished tied with Eagles at 9-7, but make playoffs based on 4-2 divisional record (instead of Eagles 3-3).


Playoffs:

Giants at Cardinals
Falcons at Cowboys
Saints, Vikings - BYE


Those that came up short:

Eagles 9-7
Panthers, Packers 8-8
Bears, 49ers - under .500
