The TD before the end of the first half....
 

When the Saints got the ball back with less than two minutes and one timeout left at the end of the quarter, I had this feeling. I told my friends that came over for the game "1:48 on the clock, one time-out, and 63 yards to go? The Saints are going to score a TD here." It is good to know that we have a QB like Drew Brees in those situations. He stays cool and methodically picks defenses apart in the two-minute drill. After he threw the TD pass to Meachem, I looked at them all and said "Told ya."

I have never had confidence we could score on any possession like I do since Drew has come here. Every time we get the ball I know we can do it. It is a wonderful feeling and I relish the luxury that fans of teams with guys like Marino, Elway, Montana, Manning, Brady, etc. have felt.

That TD was the death blow to Tampa. A 10 point lead at half time, with the way the Saints defense picked it up, allowed the Saints running game to take over the game. Tampa simply got worn down. Very nice win for the Saints, a very complete game!

Notice everytime Brees throws the ball and no pressure coming at him its always a completion.
