So, Drew said when you're undefeated, you get everyone's best game---

Berman asked him if New Orleans would declare monday a city-wide holiday, (apparently he's been to New Orleans on gameday) and Drew replied, "Monday and Tuesday.

Does Berman ever go by "Boomer," or is Drew losing track of who he's talking to in all these interviews? Berman thanked him at the end, and Drew said, "Thanks, Boomer." I was thinking Esiason.
Yeah Berman does go by "Boomer" too.
Great interview!
WHO DAT!

oh, ok... I was thinking, "wanna get away?"

So Berman's Boomer.
Esiason's Boomer.
And that little scrubby white dog on "Here's Boomer" is also Boomer.

now I know.
(Here's Boomer = very obscure show from the 80s. dog cute/show sucked.)

I'm surprised you haven't noticed the nickname. When switching between segments its very common to hear "thanks Boomer" or "back to you Boom"

Re: Drew Brees on MNF halftime

How did I miss that? weird.

Ok, surprise, I have something on my mind. Why does it have to be The Fastest 3 Minutes in Sports? Unless they're interviewing Drew Brees, or showing the Southern U. Marching Band, there's really nothing I want to see at halftime other than highlights.

Television has 4 million d-bags in suits sitting around talking about sports. Just show me the freakin sports--- either show me the game on now, or highlights from around the league. If you run out, show me highlights from 1974, I dont care. But more highlights, more action, more football please! Less d-bags in suits. I want action. It doesnt have to be fast or done in 3 minutes, PLEASE, take your time, Boomer, show me more, say more funny stuff, and tell us the stories.

"Coming up at halftime, FIFTEEN entire minutes of Berman doing highlights." Now thats more like it. I'd move my bathroom break to the 2 minute warning.
