Shockey Will Get The Chance He Never Had!

just thought about this. He didn't play the last game of the season and he wanted to be in the SB so bad. MNF is his chance to play a game he never got too. Bet he gets pumped!

True. He missed a shot at the perfect Pats while healing up that leg on the Giant bench. It HAD to suck sitting behind and watching Boss help them win that SB. I hope he plays well with the second chance....its not for the Lombardi....but its a helluva start

Well I don't know if he really thinks about all that... well maybe the SB but its not about who it was played against but more he didn't have a say in winning it.

The big picture is that playing in a SB now and winning would mean more for him on this team than the Giants obviously but building more hype around this game with this is a reach.

doesn't hurt that the team that played the Giants in the game he never got a chance to play, whats the Pats

He wasn't even on the bench for that superbowl. Coughlin wouldn't let him travel with the team. He was in the owners press box for that game I believe.

I don't think there's a player on our roster that isn't pumped up for this game. Hell, the Saintsations might take a couple of shots at them if they get the chance.

You guys crack me up... this isn't a SB its a Monday night game. We need to get out of it with little to no injuries.

Sure a win will be nice but the big picture its just a game.

I'm sure Shockey wants to play well Monday night...with out a doubt it's a big game, but to even compare this to the SB might be a bit far fetched. There is no doubt a lot of pressure on the Saints to win this game and keep the undefeated streak alive. Shockey will get his touches and be a big part of Paytons game plan for Monday night I would think.
