I loved that defense we had back then... Those boy's were unstopable. If only we had an offense back then, we would have dominated, bottom line... No doubt, i could'nt agree more with all yall's pick's, but i was a huge fan of Vaughn Johnson, he was a beast 2...
Just the thought of (Sam Mill's, R. Jackson, P. Swilling, V. Johnson) gives me chill's!!!
If any of yall ever watched "The Top 10 Best Defense" On NFL network, then u would have saw wut i saw... Every other team in the top 10 had Super Bowl ring's & were the best known "D's", like the "Steel Curtain" for example..
With all that said, The #1 "D" of all time was the New Orlean's Saint's & those 4 fella's i mentioned up top... That is very impressive considering we did NOT win a Super Bowl & had a terrible "O" that could'nt score to save there lives, but the MOST important stat overall, was the fact that the Saint's "D" was on the field for probably 70-75% of the game & still ranked #1... That's impressive!!!
~GEAUX $A!NT'z~ ( 11-0 ) here we come!!! :^P

Steve Gleason. That guy deserves a shot at a ring simply due to the biggest blocked kick in Saints history.

Archie Manning. If anyone in Saints history deserves a few wins it's Archie. He's done alot for the team and the city.

Re: Who would it be?

All good picks guys. And anyone of those LBers would be a great addition. But my choice would be Vaughn Johnson. He was a beast, and when he hit you, you didn't just jump right back up. He sent a many one to the sidelines.

I think right now for this team, the biggest helps would be either Willie Roaf or Ricky Jackson. Something about a stud like Roaf gets me excited.
