I know it's crazy right? For the first time in a while, I wasn't worried at all about our defense. I was relaxed and knew they would tame the Pats. I looked forward to every snap. We all know our offense is exciting, but you could just tell that Monday night the defense had that swagger and it was really fun to watch.

Yer i know what ya mean, i had the same feeling for both the Jets and the Patriots games, D sharp was unstoppable in the jets game, what a difference a year makes, never wanted to watch our D last year but its different now, you know they will make a big play when it matters most!!!

Peyton Manning #18 + Brett Favre #4 = Tracy Porter #22 running in the opposite direction

I agree... Saint'z are great all tha way across tha board, but that Monday night game with N.E. was SPECIAL.

Bottom line... There's NOT a team in tha PAST, PRESENT or FUTURE that could've beat the SAINT'z that night. They smashed on tha gas & never looked back... "CLICK'n on all cylinder's!!!

LoL, even heard an anylast say that the SAINT'z that night could have beat'n a (PRO BOWL team)... WoW, that's a great compliment!!!

I am glad someone else said it cause I thought the same thing on Monday night. I think it has been since Glover and Hand were here that I thought I couldn't wait to see what the defense does next!

Re: I actually had fun watching the defense......

Gregg Williams has a few good tools to work with, can you imagine what the defense will be like with another draft and free agency?

Re: I actually had fun watching the defense......

The first big drive had me worried, but we tightened up.

That's a mark of this defense. They learn what the offense is doing, and adjust to it. You need smart players to do that, and I think we have them.

Re: I actually had fun watching the defense......

They have been outstanding against the pass, but are still below average against the run. There is still work to be done, and I'm still nervous when the other team has the ball.

"I'm going back to New Orleans, to wear that ball and chain."

I know exactly what you're saying.

During the Pats game, with New England leading 7-3, and Wes Welker just returning the punt back into Saints territory, I was completely relaxed. I was Crocodile Dundee, "No worries." I KNEW we were going to win.

That is quite a change from the past two seasons, where we knew the D couldn't be depended on.

To all the worry warts, don't worry about the Skins Sunday. We got this!!
