Is it a contract year for Brees? I think he is still on the books for several more years, so, as far as I am concerned, he can live on his 10 million average per season. He got a 60 million dollar contract with a broken wing, he should be able to earn it all, I really don't think the Saints owe him anything more than that.

Mickey Loomis writes out a contract. "Well Drew. What do you think?" Drew looks quickly to the left. Mickey's eyes follow. Drew leans forward and adds four zeroes to the final number. Loomis recovers and looks forward again. Drew: "Looks good Mick." Drew signs the contract. Drew says to himself: "I owned him with my eyes." |

They will take care of Drew when the time comes, right now they need to worry about some of the over paid guys on the roster and resign the role players and depth that we have. I have faith in Loomis, no need to panic now
