FLOWERY BRANCH, GA. -- Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who has been trying to come back from a toe injury, participated in the walk through today, and Coach Mike Smith said that he still hasn't been ruled out of Sunday's game.

He's continued to progress and we're going to make a decision as we get closer to game time," he said. "But he has now come out and worked three times this week in walk-through situations."
Smith said that Ryan has been able to do more each day he practiced and there were no regressions or residual effects from working the day before.
If Ryan can't go, the Falcons will turn to Chris Redman, who led the Falcons to a 20-17 comeback win against Tampa Bay two weeks back. But, he was also at the helm for last week's 34-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
"Obviously, I didn't get off to a good start," Redman said. "I just have to be better as far as reads. You can't look at one thing and say, 'I need to do this better.' You need to do everything better. That's part of being a quarterback. One week you're the hero and one week you're the zero."
