Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls

We are a 7 point favorite with another huge over/under: 53

Dallas hasn't run the ball well lately, which puts Romo in the gun a lot against a loud dome crowd.

We left some points on the field against ATL- would have never believed 26 would be enough to win. Don't think it will be this week.
Brees has the TO's in check now, so I see us winning 38-28.

I AGREE with ya 100%... The $A!NT'z are a very good team any where they play, but are FAR more DANGEROUS in the DOME. Everybody's worried & frek'n out, becuz the last couple games have come down to the wire & against weaker team's in the league. Well, i DISAGREE with there comment's & opinion's, but that's there opinion's & there intitled 2 them, so if that's how they wanna feel, then so be it.
Me on the other hand, havr NO worries at all. WASH had been play'n much better the last few games before they played us, every since they finally put there #1 draft pick in & let him get his feet wet. Oh & not 2 mention that they have the #1 defense in the league, plus we played in WASH, so that has a lil 2 do with it also, but we got the WIN & thats all that matter's.
As for the FALC's, regaurdless of them not having M. Ryan & Turner play'n, they alway's give us a challenge, no matter wut. That's just how RIVAL games go. I told everyone earlier in the week that it was gonna be much more closer than everybody think's & well, i was RIGHT.
Anyway, to end this long A$$ comment, lol... $A!NT'z have beat'n DAL 6 straight times & aint stop'n now. Not 2 mention, were at home & like i already said, we're basicly UNSTOPABLE in the dome, bottom line!!!

(IT WON'T BE CLOSE)!!!
13-0 ~ GeauX $A!NT'z ~ WhO DaT!!!

We all but ice HFA with this one.
This nails the coffin shut for Wade in Dallas.

Saints 37
Cowboys 17

I see us winning this one in a rout, similar to the Patriots game. It has that feel to it.

Sorry to any Dallas fans who have tickets - you won't be able to watch this game in 3D this time because the Saints will make the Cowboys one-dimensional.

I don't get the 3-D thing......If you are in the stadium, aren't you watching it in 3-D? VERY SNEAKY JERRY JONES!

hang on a second gang. our defense is still banged up and chris redman had all day to throw passes against us.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls

I agree with ya REAL...divisional games- Tough with a capital T- they are the only time I get those butterflies this season. And Washington should not be sitting at 4-9, considering their play all year. But we keep findin those W's in any situation, and those close games show how good this team actually is. Prediction: 38-14 Saints. 45-17 if the blow-out urge arises.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls

A great big benefit for the Saints offense is that D. Ware's injury likely means that he'll be out next Saturday. Bushrod has to be happy with that.

I think being in the Thunderdome will be key...the Cowgirls wont be able to handle the pressure...No D .Ware and all the stuff in their minds about the Dec failure will be the blood in the water for the Saints Sharks to feast. Im hoping D Sharp will get a pic six...lol

This is true, but I have a hard time seeing Romo having the game that Redman had-with no-one to run the ball, and in our house. The Birds at home, in the division, and whether they're playin spoiler or catch-up, that game is gonna be tough all day. Our D is what it is right now, but it does step up when we need it. The pass is gonna be too much for Dallas I think.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls

I live in Shreveport, the front lines of Cowturd territory. When there is a schedule conflict between the Saints and the Cowboys, our local Fox affiliate would rather show the Cowboys. This does not sit well with Saints fans. This year the local rivalry has really heated up with the success of the Saints. It would make the season for a lot of local Saints fans if the Saints could squash the Cowgirls like a grape. This game, here locally, is on the same level as the Patriots game three weeks ago.

Now, with the Cowboys losing their last two games, their back is now againt the wall and they have everything to play for. The Saints better come and play with the same intensity as they played against New England. The crowd will make a huge difference in the game. If the Saints let the Cowboys score first, it could possibly take the crowd out of it. The Saints need to score first and score often. Keep the Cowboys trailing and out of the game and keep the crowd in the game just like they did New England. I think the Saints are going to win this game, but I don't think it's going to be easy. Keep the crowd in it!

Saints - 30
Dallas - 24

No one to run the ball? I disagree man. Barber and Jones combined for 108yds vs a tough Chargers line. The Cowboys wr's can cause matchup problems for our depleted secondary especially if we can't get pressure on Romo.

I think we have the edge, but I don't see a blow out. (hope im wrong - like i usually am :) )

The game will be close until the 4th quarter. Saints squeak out another. 14-0.

20-17 Saints. They are fighting for their playoff lives, their potential contracts next season and the ignominy of collapsing 15 Decembers in a row. Don't expect them to roll over, be afraid or hang back. They will be playing ballsout and fearless because the alternative is 8 months of torture.

Dallas will be traveling after a short week. That gives us just one more advantage and we already have all we need to win big over Dallas.

Ware could play vs. Saints, Phillips says

IRVING, Texas -- After being carted off the field and taken to the hospital with a strained neck, outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware could play Saturday against the New Orleans Saints, coach Wade Phillips said Monday.
Ware suffered a strained neck during the fourth quarter of the Cowboys' loss Sunday to the San Diego Chargers. Rushing full speed in an attempt to sack Philip Rivers, Ware lost his balance and the crown of his helmet collided with Chargers offensive tackle Brandyn Dombrowski's hip.
Ware was strapped to a gurney and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. He had full feeling and movement in all of his extremities, waving and making other hand gestures as he was carted off the field.
After Ware was released from the hospital Sunday night, two sources told ESPNDallas.com that he was likely to miss two weeks. He spent Sunday night at home icing his neck, which was sore and swollen. One of those sources said Monday that it's still likely that Ware will miss at least one game.
"He's actually a lot better today," Phillips said. "He's really in a day-to-day situation as far as where he's going to be as far as being able to play. He took quite a hit, but he's really bounced back really strong. That's encouraging for him and us."
Ware hasn't missed a game since the Cowboys selected him in the first round of the 2005 draft. He has played almost every snap this season despite a stress fracture in his foot diagnosed in October and a chip fracture in his wrist sustained this month.

... I'll just say..

... after the last 2 games, the natives are restless, and we demand a blood sacrifice.

The Cowgirls are desperate for sure. That'll help them .. but Not For Long ... It'll be closer than we think .... 59-11 Saints!

... besides ... they have a great holder ...
