The NFL Network is loading up its weekend schedule with extras aimed at Saturday (December 19) night’s New Orleans Saints-Dallas Cowboys game.

The game will be carried in New Orleans by both the digital-cable NFL feed and ABC affiliate WGNO-Channel 26, which plans ample wrap-around programming of its own.

The NFL Network’s Saints-related extras, working back in time from kickoff:

Saturday

7:20 p.m.– Kickoff. Play-by-play by Bob Papa. The booth analyst is Matt Millen.

5 p.m. -- The pregame “Thursday Night Kickoff” (not a mistake, that’s the show’s title even when the game is played on Saturday night) will originate live from the Superdome. The host is Rich Eisen. The analysts are Deion Sanders, Steve Mariucci and New Orleans native Marshall Faulk.

4:30 p.m. "Playbook." NFL experts analyze the Saints-Cowboys game.

3 p.m. – “Path to Perfection: 2009 New Orleans Saints.” A recap of the Saints’ season so far.

2:30 p.m. – “Game Changers: New Orleans.” Drew Brees meets with Harry Connick Jr. to discuss the season.

2 p.m. – “Game of the Week.” A recap of the Dome-opening Saints-Atlanta Falcons game from week 3 of the 2006 season.

12: 30 p.m. – “NFL Replay.” Highlights of the Saints-Washington Redskins game of December 6.

11 a.m. – “NFL Replay.” Highlights of the Saints-New England Patriots game of November 30.

9:30 a.m. – “NFL Replay.” Highlights of the Saints-Carolina Panthers game of November 8.

1:30 a.m. “NFL Replay.” Highlights of the Saints-Miami Dolphins game of October 25.
