Who would you guys like to face in the Super Bowl and why?
 

Most likely, the NFC team will be the Saints or the Vikings... as the AFC team will most likely be the Chargers or the Ponies.


Gnats are really the only NFC team that I hate. I'd love to see my Chargers punch em' in the mouth while the whole world is watching but I highly doubt the Giants will be there. Not too fond of the Cowgirls either.

Chargers and Saints would be an awesome Super Bowl. I think the rating would go through the roof, knowing that one team would leave with their first Super Bowl title.
I also think it would be a good game. I don't think the winning team would win by more than 10 points.

Though there is one downfall of it for my side... the vast majority of the world would be rooting against my team. :mrgreen:

In the NFC I think it's safe to say everyone will pick the Saints.
Bolts vs Saints would be a great QB match up but if the undefeated Saints play the undefeated Colts, it would be billed as the greatest SB of all time.

Personally I want to play the Colts since to be the best you have to beat the best. I don't want anybody having even the slightest reason to discredit us kicking butt in the playoffs. It would be best to go down in history!!!

Saint vs Colts.
New Orleans and NFC's best team ever against one of the AFC's best ever.
18-and-0 against 18-and-0 would be the sweetest.
Brees against Peyton Manning.
I could find a way to be happy for Manning even if it went the other way.
I'm pretty sure he would be OK with his best efforts falling short to us.

We've owned the Manning's since 2005.

Brees:

against Payton 1-1 (including ending their perfect season)
against Sheli 1-0



Rivers:

against Payton 3-1 (including 2 post season wins)
against Sheli 1-0


I hope we go to Indy for the AFCC and crash NFL's party again!!!
The refs tried to help the Ponies win in the 2007 playoffs but we own them!!!

I would like to see the Bolts and Saints.

i want perfect vs perfect....and all the old dolphins can just go away no matter who wins...of cours it will be us and playing against manning is just a bonus and a chance for drew to shine

First answer: I am not gonna be picky. I will be ecstatic with the Saints in the Superbowl no matter who the opponent.

My next answer is going to be boring: I'd like the Saints to play whoever the worst team in the playoffs is b/c that gives the Saints the best chance for a win.

But if I had my pick for a dream scenario, I'd go with an unbeaten Saints team against an unbeaten Colts because, like others have said two undefeated teams, Brees vs. Manning. It would be the most hyped thing ever.

Chargers would be my second choice. I would not care for playing the Patriots (although beating them would be nice and the team would have to feel confident after the MNF game), Bengals or Broncos.

I would want the Colts or the Chargers.

The Colts, like many have said here, are running neck and neck with us for a perfect season. Two undefeated teams in the Super Bowl would be an amazing feat. Archie Manning will probably have a nervous breakdown if this happens.

The Chargers are my favorite AFC team, but that was mainly because of when Drew Brees played with them. I was a fan of his when he was at Purdue. I still like the Chargers, but I would definitely want them to lose to prove once and for all that the Saints got the better end of the deal when the Chargers gave the reins to Rivers and we got Brees.

I like the Bolts too. Class outfit, and it would be a great game. The media wants 18-0 vs 18-0, but who cares?
