I think unless the Saints just fall apart these last three regular season games, that Drew Brees will be voted MVP. I feel like there is a big swell across the nation that is enjoying seeing the Saints have the year they are having. You even see it from other teams fans. They wish the Saints well and they want us to enjoy the success (unless we play them the next weekend). They are seeing the city of New Orleans comming together and having a common bond and finally having somthing to cheer about. They see what Drew Brees does for the city of New Orleans off the field as well. Drew Brees was just a few yards from Breaking Dan Marino's all time passing record last year, and this year to lead the Saints to a, so far, undefeated season, I feel like, unless there is a total melt down, that he will get the MVP.

Re: Mvp?

Brees will get screwed because Peyton Manning has the history. I hate it, but it's going to happen.

Adam Schein said today on Sirius that Manning had his MVP vote, and Schein's one of the bigger Saints supporters on there.

i only know one way to be & that's 100% at all times...
Me personally, P. Manning has been terrific, Bree's equally as great, but if i had to pick right now & it NOT matter about a winning team or record... I believe RB Chris Johnson of Tenn has be unbelievable. That guy is amazing & that team would'nt even have a win if he wase'nt there, bottom line.
I pray Bree's win's the award, but it could go either way on this one!!!

Re: Mvp?

i think it would need to be alot harder for a 2000 yard rusher to get MVP, not taking anything away from chris johnson because he has been spectacular this season. BUT 5 people have reached 2000 yards, only 2 people have reached 5000 yards passing, and still drew didn't get a single vote for it.

In all fairness, i have great respect for manning and what hes done over the years, but drew has been the nucleus of this season and unless the voting board is fixed, or full of viking fans Brees should get it.
