Re: New members!

I have been a fan forever (late 70's) but only found this sight recently.

The Internet has been a Godsend for someone like me who is stuck in Florida & doesn't get a lot of Saints news w/o goping online!!

As it turns out, the Internet is actually good for something, St Augustine rules and so does your avatar. B&G is definitely the site I open up first thing in the morning (Work email be damned). Being a new member to the board myself, it's apparent there are great folks hanging out here. Great site.

Someone said in another thread that they were getting tired of all the Saints coverage (Saints overload I think he called it). Not me. I am looking for any tidbit of information I can find on the Saints this year. That is why I came here. It looked like a good place to get that information, cheer for my team and talk a little smach if I have to. So don't think that just because I am new to this forum, that I just jumped on the wagon. I have been looking forward to this season for over 30 years. I knew one day it would come.
u sound like me but i'm 50

Re: New members!

Yes, I've just joined this forum in the past few days, but I was there when Dempsey kicked the field goal, suffered through many of the paper bag seasons, and even nursed my newborn in the Dome. I know... TMI. But this season is something very special.

I love my Saints and my hometown and even though I haven't live in the city for 30 years, I want to go back for the Superbowl and eat crawfish and shrimp with my momma and my sisters for the game and see Brees as king in Bacchaus!

Tomorrow night I'm facing the Cowgirl crowd in Austin - BLAH!!! But I'll be wearing Black and Gold and cheering my heart out for my BOYS!!!

Hey!! When the Saints go all the way to the Superbowl, I'm renaming my puppy (who sports the Saints colors, of course) Brees. Already had a dog named Archie!!

Bless You Boys!!!!! Geaux, Saints!!!!!!

I'm wit ya on dat Homer. When I was contemplating about moving to Pensacola the deciding factor was all the Saint's games were shown on the local stations here and not the FallClowns or Jacksonville games. As far as news in the mullet wrapper, oops, I mean News Journal, well that just sucks.
