You mean Bushrod sucked...Brees made the best of the blocking ...wait there was none...

For all of his positives, the negatives out wayed it tonite. Mvp's step up, like peyton did against the jags thursday, drew looked like he was on leno, again. Forget the hype. Win, or go home. That's all that's left.

cowboys were easily the better team through 3 quarters, they know how dangerous our O is when we get on a roll and that only happened once. Bushrod got man handled and brees was constantly on the ground, bush looked promising from the start but then left the game.

AND lastly......... how did devery drop that wide open ball? he did an excellent job to work back to an underthrown ball!!!!

Who spoiled who? I didn't get used to not losing on my own. Especially against a
Team like the cowboys. Now its superbowl or bust. No room for error.

Viqueens win today, and only one game back from us. One loss I can handle, but not a skid at the
end of the season. I hope shockey, and ellis had good days off! " Ihope u had a hell of a p!ss Arnold!". -

Re: We Played One Quarter and Almost Won

We have had it good so far. But have to admit that for all the good football, we have rode our luck real close v Skins and Dirty Birds.

Last night we got done by the most balanced offense we have met and we are short of 1st teamers and, as you are saying, Brees sucked. BTW I am not jumping on Brees. He has always led the team well and will do so again. He didn't say he is MVP and whilst we know he is MVP calibre he can't be MVP every game, every minute. No one can.

Well, for me, it ain't that bad providing that we can move on and do well in the playoffs, with whatever personnel we have. 16-0 would have been great, heck I am still stunned with 13 wins so far. But I really would like a NFC Championship this year and I don't know what I will do if the big one lands in New Orleans.

For sure it will be harder for the Saints to come back in the playoffs. Regular season teams have given us something by going too conservative. Most of the playoff teams won't do that; Vikes, Eagles, Cards, Packers won't anyways. (And I dread to think of the Colts or Chargers in the SB.) So we have to start quicker, like we did at the start of the season, and then stick in there.

Geaux Saints!

BTW saintpaul25 - why Craig Heyward - who I met after a training session.

Hopefully the Saints understand if they don't show up for four quarters, especially at this time of year against the better teams, they will not win.
