OMG, Carney will probably get picked up by a playoff opponent and kick a game winner against the Saints... On the serious side, I sure hope Hartley doesn't go into a funk. I think he is a very good kicker but I am not very confident in him just yet. Bottom line is right now the Saints cannot keep the roster spot occupied, hopefully this doesn't backfire. If the Saints happen to win the Super Bowl, please make sure Carney gets his ring!

Nobody wants to say it???? Fine, I will lol KICK ROCKS CARNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not be missed by me. Does anybody remember the carolina game???? all those laterals and the touchdown and he missed the damn field goal. Or what about the minnesota and denver games last season that we needed him in? I'm trying my hardest not to say any explicit words right now. SO lets just say get the bleep out Carney.

Re: Carney Cut, McCauley Waved, Eckel and Jones signed

Didn't Morton miss some kicks when he played for us? I think he even missed some extra points. If memory serves he went to the Falclowns and beat us several times when he was in his 40's. Not taking up for Carney, though he is one of the top kickers ever, I'm just saying it seems when we cut them they come back to haunt us even more than they did when they played for us..... Come to think of it it happened with more than just kickers.

There's a thread. Players who we fired that signed with another team and came back and beat us later. We could probably stick with Atlanta and get 20 names. I know it happens a lot with all teams but it sure seems to happen to us more.
