The 'skins looked really good lastnight. Thats a good thing. Lets face it, our playoff competition is the Bucs, Falcs, Giants, Eagles, 49ers, Rams,
If Washington improves they can keep the Eagles and Giants from hoarding all the wins. That division winner may end up 9-7 with their schedule.
NFC south schedule is a little easier.
If the Cowboys improve, they could steal a couple of wins in their division also.

BTW: Would anybody be insulted if they Redskins were called the Blackskins and their mascot was a guy with a big 'fro?
The older I get the more I agree with Native Americans on this issue that its a racial slur.
Braves and Chiefs not so much, but Redskins sure is. And I'm no bleeding heart left-winger either.

Back when my grandparents were alive, I used to talk to them about it because they were full blooded Cherokee. I never got into specifics with them about it, but the general consensus was that they weren\'t really offended by it. But once again, I never really went into specifics with them. I think it is an honor to have a school with the mascot the \"Indians\" or \"Braves\", but \"Redskins\" is pushing it.
In a day where a pro team will change their name from the \"Bullets\" to the \"Wizards\", because they are afraid that it promotes violence, along with the sensitivity aspect, it suprises me that a derogatory term like \"Redskins\" can still be used to represent a pro team. If anything were to happen, I could see Snyder fighting the change all the way.

EDIT: Oops, look at me, not talking about football again. I know that a couple of you like to fall back on this point because you have problems arguing the point at hand, so I’ll try to keep it football based from now on, as to appease the natives.

If you\'re talking about me -- I don\'t care what you talk about. I actually enjoy reading your posts. I know how you are. You\'re direct and straight to the point. Your the type of person who can\'t tolerant ignorace and you will point out someone\'s ignorance very quick. Now, I could be wrong but that\'s how I see you. I think it\'s funny. I have no problem with what you post.

I also know you know your stuff about football. I don\'t ever single you out about anything. You disagree and make comments about my posts and I respond. No hard feelings on my part.
