I just have to say....
 

We lose 1 game and everything I see and hear is that our season is over? Don't even bother going to the playoffs cause we don't have a chance? The Cowpaddies beat us and they're going to the Superbowl? REALLY???? We're exposed?

I don't friggin think so. WE LOST 1 GAME, CAUSE WE BEAT OURSELVES!!!!!! We're still better than any team in this league, but if you play down to opponents and make mistakes, eventually you will lose. NOT ONE team in this league could beat us if we are playing our A game. Even when not playing our best, we still manage to pull it out and almost did it again on Saturday. I'm glad we lost that game though. The players need to wake the hell up.

Now let's just stop playing around and beat the hell out of any team that we play next. I'm tired. I'm tired of year in and year out saying "next year". THIS IS NEXT YEAR AND IT'S OUR FRIGGIN YEAR!!!!

LET'S DO THIS SAINTS!!!!!!!!! WHO DAT AND GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!

I also think the loss to the Cowturds was best for the Saints (I hate it had to be the Cowboys though). We don't have that 16-0 thing hanging over our heads any more. We can now squash Tampa Bay, secure HFA and take it easy with Carolina (even if it means losing). We need to get the player back on the practice field, stop making commercials and stop the interviews with Leno, let our players get healthy and hit the Playoff with a full head of steam. I agree, that if the Saints are 100% and play their best, there is nobody in the NFL that can beat them, not even the Chargers. If Drew Brees plays his best, the offensive line shows up to give him a little bit of time in the pocket, and if Peyton calls plays like he did in the first half of the season (or the 4th quarter of the second half of the season) there is no way to defend against his pass attack. The run will just come naturally after that. I hope that loss snapped them back into the reality that they can be beat. They have a chance to win it all if they give it their all. This is what the've lived their whole lives for. Don't screw it up now.

There may be some validity to the point that the pressure for a 16-0 season is over. Now if the players can take the focus on each game instead of a perfect season then we should be able to move forward and go after the prize.

To me it wasn't the pressure of going 16-0, but more this mindset the players/coaches seemed to be setting of thinking they could screw around for 3 quarters, then turn on the jets the 4th quarter and come from behind to win. The last game they played at full speed for 4 quarters, they demolished the Patriots.

Well, I don't think the season is over by any means, but the truth is the team has not played well in nearly a month. Thank goodness the team has fought throughout the season to win every game, so they have put themselves in a great position for the playoffs.

I really appreciate this team's character, which I think is reflected by its win loss record.

Hopefully the luxury of a time that the team has earned will be what is needed to get back on track.

I'm pretty excited about our prospects of being 1st seed. We had a bad game, learn from it and improve. Don't get cozy. Keep playing hard.

When you're winning games, it's easy to overlook your mistakes. When they lost to Dallas, everything was magnified. I'm sure they'll be corrected and a healthy Saints team is a winning Saints team.
