Can you name the Problems?

Here, I'll start:

Tackling on defense.

Quit diving at the feet of the ball carrier and hit them in the stomach with your pads. I've not seen this much diving since the Portugal national soccer team was given a free pass to the 3M springboard event in the last Olympics. Among my favorite culprits is:

Mike McKenzie.
How many times are you going to hurl yourself at the ground somewhere in the vicinity of a sideline when you've been giving too much of a cushion to a slow #2/3 receiver on a quick out? MY GOD, how many years have you been in the NFL? Do ya think that they figured out your horrendous weakness? Yards after the catch on your responsibility is one of the highest in the league! And the passes usually never go beyond the line of scrimmage! What does it take to get you to just delay the guy for a few tenths to let your teammates catch up to the play?

Talk about "Correcting Things." Worse than his overall play, his "influence" is rubbing off on every defender. I saw very few hits leading with the pads to the midsection. No one wants to stand up the ballcarrier. You look at the play of GOOD defenses around the league and every defender, even the kicker/punter, knows how to and executes a proper tackle.

There's a reason you don't have flags on your hips (or feet.) Its Tackle Football. The last 7 games have had the same basic offensive game plan from opponents:

Run right at your defender. He's a PU$$Y. (except Vilma, stay away from that guy)

Also except Will Smith. He just keeps making plays. Sharper was pretty good on Sunday too. And someone actually told Charles Grant where the game was being played, so he could show up...and he did.

The rest of them, for the most part, had their heads in the clouds.

were missing shockey. not so much as a receiver but as a blocker to give drew more time. lord help us if we dont have him next week to help block. its peppers last game before he goes looking for his big contract and i figure hes going to want to leave a good reminder of what he can do.

1. Our DT's are getting mauled at the LOS
2. Our OLB's are parking cones
3. We tackle with our shoulders
4. Our pass rush has disappeared
5. The entire team looks hungover and dead-legged.
6. Sharper and Harper are playing safe to cover for inexperienced CB/LB play.
7. Our special teams are the worst in the NFL
8. Jermon Bushrod can't hold Jammal Browns jock.

Reasons for optimism...
We'll get Greer, Shanle, Gay, Shockey, Moore, Bell and PT back to 100% by the time we play our 1st playoff game, and Porter, Fujita should have knocked all the rust off by then.

I hate to say this but MALCOLM JENKINS. we cant blitz cause when we do his side gets picked on. We cant go man cause when we do his side gets picked on. When we give up a big third down play. Guess who's side it gets passed on. WE NEED GREER!!!

Meachem's route running mistakes cost us two third-down conversions, and arguably the game. If he can't correct those mistakes, we need to start Henderson or Moore and demote Meachem to 3rd/4th WR.

Also, I get nervous every time Colston runs after the catch, he needs to protect the ball and quit trying Reggie Bush moves in the open field.

Oddly enough, Henderson had underwhelming stats but played a much better game yesterday, run-blocking and catching. Another reason why fantasy football drives me nuts.

I have to agree on Jenkins. He just isn't ready for starting CB duties. Gotta leave him at nickel or preferably dime right now. Not giving up on him at corner yet, maybe next year or year #3 he will have a great training camp and prove himself ready.

They had head somewhere besides in the clouds, maybe like where the sun doesn't shine.

Which route was he supposed to run?

On two occasions on he stopped his route short of 1st down marker on 3rd down. The second one, especially. Johnston and Fox dudes replayed it and pointed it out, he had 5+ yard cushion from the Tampa DB and ran the route a foot short of first down marker. Brees was chewing on Meachem as punt team came on the field.

I've seen Colston, Henderson, Moore, Shockey, PT and Reggie do the exact same thing numerous times. Not sure why you wanna bench Meachem in favor of other players that do the exact same thing.

The Saints receivers are taught to come back to the ball. Meachem is too fast for his own good and came back too far.
