Re: Headlines next Monday!!

Well, at least Steve Smith is out. Expect him to be on IR in the next few days. Broken arm, and surgery, he isn't going to be playing Sunday, that's for sure.

HaHaHa... AMEN to that, bro...
I would LOVE for nothing more than to happen, that would be wonderful!!!
We MUST get that same SWAGGER & UNITY that we had the 1st half of the season, if we DON'T, we are DONE, bottom line!!!

This team FEED's off one another... If the Offense is running on all cylinder's, then so does the Defense & the same vis-verse...
Then again & it's been exactly wut's been going on here in the last 4 games. We have struggled Defensively & well to NO surprise, the Offense struggled too!!!

I post a comment on another page about wut the teams problem is & i had an ANSWER for just that. My whole life ive been in sport's & still am, while coaching on the side. I have watched all 4 of our last games & (1) thing sticks out like a sore thumb & it (IS) the exact problem & if anyone thinks im blow'n hot air & DON'T know wut im talk'n about...
" FEEL FREE TO WATCH TO GAME TAPES OF THE LAST 4 GAMES URSELF"

{{{ 1st half of season we BLITZED 62% og the time. Now, in our last 4 games we have BLITZED only 38%... Thats a HUGE difference.}}}

Also, the past for games the QB has had an average of 5-6 seconds in the pocket to make play's... That's INSANE... An offensive line is asked to give there QB atleast 2 1/2 to 3 seconds to make a play in the pocket, thats the average. We have been giving them TWICE the amount of time... Now, i DON'T care if (Charles Woodson) is covering an
(Undrafted Rookie F/A WR from a NO-NAME college), if he has 5 seconds to run route & around, he WILL get open at one point or another. It's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to cover someone for that long & not let them free. As for the QB, if he has 5 seconds to look up & down the field, he WILL find atleast one WR open somewhere, no matter wut... These are proven fact's. That is EXTREMELY way too much time.

Here's my take on all this: If it work's, DON'T change it!!!
There's NO reason why he should have changed anything & STOPPED bring BLITZES & PRESSURE packages. He has used up the whole~
(Banged up in the secondary crap), thats BS...

If we put or CB's man-2-man on the edges, no matter who is at CB & have Sharper & Harper FREE-LACE & be responsible for covering the TE's & RB's
if need be, if theres not a TE, then Harper should blitz & same goes for Sharper, if not a RB, blitz. Send all the LB's & even could mix it up & have Vilma drop back to cover either the RB or TE, wutever the case may be & send both SAFTIES. By doing that, we are be'n unpredictable, put'n non-stop pressure on the QB & forcing him to make a PERFECT throw, if he dose'nt it will be picked off.

I'd much rather have a QB beat me by throwing a perfect pass, while my defender's are in his face & hitting him at release, rather than allowing him to sit back in the pocket & have all day to throw & pick us apart.

{ It's a NO-BRAINER } Blitzing, Non-Stop Pressure & consistantly doing so, WILL CREATE & FORCE turnover's, BOTTOM LINE!!!

I LOVE Will Smith & used to like Charles Grant, but he has gotten extremely LAZY. Grant played well aginst Tampa Bay, but he is FAR from CONSISTANT. We know wut to expect from W. Smith every game. They need to pull Grant & start Bobby McCray on the other end. He hustles & gives u 100% every single play & is very FAST.

My point is this: Our front 4 right now, can NOT get pressure on QB's consistantly, nowhere even close to it. If we dont change thing's, we WILL get punished.

I wish to GOD, that GW would START=
(W.Smith ~ S. Ellis ~ Hawthorne ~ McCray) {{front 4}}
(Futtita ~ Vilma ~ Casillas) {{LB core}}
(Greer ~ Porter ~ Harper ~ Sharper) {{Secondary}}

THAT'S JUST ME, THOUGH!!!

Re: Headlines next Monday!!

Drew has had a deer in the headlights look the past few games. He needs
his swagger back, not Brunell.
