Also, keep in mind: heading into the playoffs the year the Colts won it all, teams were running all over them. Everyone stated they'd be one and done, that their run D was suspect at best. They all stepped it up, and raised the Lombardi at the end of the year.

Also, just my opinion, but with Drew in today we would have won handily. All of those sputtering drives would have resulted in points for us.

Run D was TONS better! I think we have some things in store for the Playoffs. I hope whoever we play is ready for a "Cake walk" because I have a feeling we're going to slap some idiots SILLY!!!

Believe it or not I was saying the same thing earlier today. I thought the tackling and fundamentals were much better this week. I also think if our starters were in there we would've had a great chance for a victory (Carolina didnt show me much). But yes, the defense definitly showed that there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Come on boys! You got 2 weeks to prime up! Geaux Saints!!!

The D did show up for the game, and they played pretty well. They were getting tired toward the end of the game though. The offensive line also played better. Brunell had lots of time to throw. If Brees was in today, he would have picked Carolina apart!

They were tired because they couldn't stay off the field. I was cringing every time brunnell took an 15 step drop and let one of our receivers out to dry because he was late or didn't have enough arm 4 the throw. But yeah I was happy with the defense for the most part. Much improved.

I couldn't agree more. We should be 100% healthy for the playoffs and we have all seen what a healthy and motivated Saints team can do. I have NO DOUBT that we will Kick major a$$ in the playoffs. Let the media doubt us! Go Saints! GOD I love being from Louisiana.
