Greer?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Did anyone do an analysis of Greer's play in the Carolina game? how many reps? did he see any action? Box score said 6 tackles, but what about his pass defending??...

Greer?

Did anyone do an analysis of Greer's play in the Carolina game? how many reps? did he see any action? Box score said 6 tackles, but what about his pass defending??

Erased the game 2 minutes after it ended, but I don't remember his name being called at all on any of the Carolina plays, which I guess is a good thing for a CB.

His run support helps a lot too. I saw him come up a few times and make some plays there too. He is a huge help. Him and porter backs is beyond fabulous!!!!

He played i think they said 18 plays overall. You could tell when he was in, and the impact that he has on the defensive play as an overall unit. I expect our d to be back to the aggresive ball hawking nature. Sharper can now roam the field and read the QB with no fear.

Was he in on that big running play by the Panthers?

I think I remember them saying on WWL that we were running a 4-4-3 defense on that play and I didn't remember which member of the secondary was out...

He looked solid. Looked as if he didn't miss a beat. Came up great against the run.
