Yes I was joking. But I have admit that I did have to look up what it meant. Am I officially old? I thought the 30s were supposed to be the best years? :D

So anyway, HEYYYY SUPERDOME, Whats up, dude? I sent you an email.
Its time for serious planning.

Where did you find this guy? I loved the line about Drew, "Hes not just a nice guy who puts up numbers once every 3 weeks, (Romo) He's a ******* video game! hahahahahahaha! a video game--- I love it.

He's a bit potty mouthed. Reminds me of that tape of the guy you showed me from Tulane who said "**** you you ****** ****."

NSFW--- I had to ask Kase what that meant. I had no clue. I didnt know either-- 40s, you know. You know when one of my kids struggles with some little technical doo-dad, the other one sneers at them and says, "What are you, 40?" hahahaha.... makes perfect sense.

Its amazing what I dont know, much less care about any more. I have a spot that goes thusly:

"Tonight on Lifetime, Project runway is back in NYC! Heidi, Tim, Nina, and Michael Return. Project runway the new season premieres tonight at 10 on Lifetime."

I guess Im supposed to say "Heidi, Tim, Nina, and Michael" like we all care about them. They could walk in and sit on my lap, and I wouldnt know them from the Partridge Family. Actually, if Susan Dey sat on my lap, I'd know the difference, (and so would she)

Exile, 30's is NOT the best years of your life--- 40's is. Get ready, you're gonna need these little glasses. Anyway, the stuff we know that kids dont know is way more useful than the stuff they know. Lets see them trap crawfish.

good grief, look at those.

Re: As Bobby would say, "Freaking great article!"

the worst thing about peyton manning is that no other QB in the league will get the respect they deserve until manning retires

arguably the greatest QB in the history of the game is playing during an era where there are possibly 2 other top 20 QBs of all time and they will never get the same respect

does anybody remember who the other heavyweight champions were before ali, during ali's career, or right after?

i can name a few off the top of my head because i follow boxing.....but i fear that drew will be the greatest QB in the history of the NFL to never get the respect he deserves

congrats to evans and sharper tho

curious how adrian peterson made all pro when he was 6th in rushing and only led the league in 1 single category......rushing TDs

same argument can be made about peyton manning....how did he beat drew?

thats kind of the point. We're all rather nuts, and have been driven to it in the last 40 or so years. If I really sat and thought about it, I'd probably get a little nutty too.

I think I'm just so damn happy now....

Sometimes situations call for less than Biblical adjectives, and in this article, it definately called for it. I liked the "still nervous with 2:00 minutes left, up by 3 touchdowns, and still being nervous." I have been there so many freaking times..... Love the article. Should be framed, and hung on the freaking wall.

Well...he beat Sonny Liston to become the champ...and before Sonny there was this guy I remember named Ingomar Johansen or something like that and there was Rocky Graziano and Joe Louis. Afterwards, names like George Foreman, Michael Spinks (sp?) or his brother Leon, and of course Tyson (see sig)...and then Buster Douglas shocked the world when he knocked out Tyson. Need I go on?

Larry Holmes and Ken Norton were a couple that popped into my mind, too.

Kinda like the "if I knew then what I know now" idea? Yeah I agree. But it is really strange when my son hands me his cell phone and says "look at the text message I just received". And I can read none it. :-D

yeah, man, but you need to give full disclosure on yourself.

He's a school teacher, yall. So he's around hip hop (especially in the hood he works in) happening younguns. Dome knows all that frizzle shizzle hizzle talk, and can tell Lady Gaga from Shakira, which I cant.

He's so hip he knows I'm a "noob."

A school teacher! Well that doesn't count. He's been to confernces, had special training and been in the text message bunkers so that he can read that stuff.

i was really talking about the guys immediately before and after

guys like floyd patterson who is my favorite boxer of all time, rocky marciano and larry holmes and john tate

guys like spinks....i dont think his name was michael but i cant remember what it was(leon.....i had to look it up).....were champions during ali's career

michael spinks wasnt champion until nearly 10 years after ali had retired

the point is that its much harder to think of great QBs that played during the johnny unitas era and peyton manning era because they were both so great.....players are forgotten much easier when you have to compare them to all time greats just like boxers were

that is where i fear drew's numbers and importance to the league will be forgotten
