Does anyone have audio or a video clip when he was on Mike & Mike yesterday morning? After watching that, it sounded to me like he was wearing purple underwear all along!

The Favre circus is nauseating. If he walks over to the sideline and headbutts a cheerleader, the media would call it "genius" or "veteran savvy". I dont disagree with that and if his play overshadows the whole team and theyre winning, that's a casualty I can accept.

I think Carter is still bitter about losing to Atlanta in the NFC Championship back in 98. After that incredible season, losing at home, in the big one, to Chris Chandler had to be somewhat emasculating.

That was awful, the biggest kick to the teeth in my life. It sucked to see, Jamal never played after '99 season and Chandler was booed out of town for Vick within a few years. It's like the '98 Falcons were sent to be the Vikings Harbinger of Death.

Yeah, I remember that game. It was a shock to say the least.

Re: Apologies, but WHAT???

Colin Cowherd this morning said the Saints had "the least talent of all teams left in the playoffs". He had the Vikings at 1 or 2.

But anyway - who really cares where everyone else ranks your team?

I like being the underdog anyway but I'm sure no one on either team is taking this matchup lightly.

This is two pretty evenly matched teams with similar abilities and it's gonna be a heck of a game.

It'll come down to pressuring the QB and turnovers.

Viking visitors: If you're here trying to out-piss us as fans then you're wasting your time bc the Saints deserve is just as much as any other team that worked to get here.

Re: Apologies, but WHAT???

Colin Cowherd is nothing but a troll with a big microphone. He just says things to rile people up and usually it works. I can recall distinctly in 2005 him saying Favre was washed up, grossly overrated and that he was finished. This year he had Favre's nuts on his chin.

How are the Saints the least talented? My Lord just look at that receiving corps, the OL, QB and the running backs. I will say the same thing I said with regards to the Packers against the Cardinals. I just don't know how the Vikings can stop the Saints (I didn't realize our defense would give up 45 freaking points but that's another topic).

If the Saints get up early, it's going to be lights out. Say a 10-0 lead in the first quarter or a 17-3 type lead in the 2nd quarter. Favre has never been a master at coming back and it's those type situations he gets careless with the football (see the AZ and Panther games). Yes, they did comeback against the Bears, but they didn't get the prize and the entire Bears secondary in the 2nd half was backups.

If the Vikings are close or ahead though at halftime they are going to be tough to beat. I said it all year long, if the Vikings trail early they're in deep trouble (see Pitt, AZ, Panthers, Bears) but if they get the lead they're almost impossible to beat. I kept banging that drum even when they were 10-1...to that point the only time they were behind was against SF and it took a miracle to win that one. Down the stretch they were behind early 3 times and lost all 3 of those games.

We saw Dallas do it when the Saints had a full head of steam, the Cardinals' had two of their top defensive backs out and they, like the Vikings, have had very close games. But yes, the Vikings do need to take the crowd out of it as soon as possible.
