what are those things the South Africans use during soccer matches? we should get a few thousand and have people play those instead of screaming. I heard that it's so distracting to the players that FIFA is banning them for the World Cup.

If about 25% of the fans put pennies in bottles, how will they enforce the artificial noise policy? Hard to see the nose bleed section from the playing field! Besides, the metrodome uses that goofy horn

great idea AqB. Pennies in bottles. Don't have to stop cheering! Buy a Dixie, drain it the old fashioned way, then plop 10 pennies inside. After the game, donate it to a local charity/katrina relief fund. 70,000 @ $0.10 = $7,000. Everybody wins!

Supposedly against NFL policy to have artificial noise makers. Officials could penalize the team for crowd behavior. Go figure? NFL No fun leage.
