Shockey listed as questionable ..expected to play!!

METAIRIE — New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was listed as questionable on Friday for the NFC Championship Game on Sunday night against Minnesota in the Louisiana Superdome.

Shockey suffered a knee bruise in the Saints win over Arizona last week and has not practiced all week. He is expected to play, however, by those close to the team.

The only injured player who may not play is cornerback Malcolm Jenkins, who has not practiced all week because of a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Robert Meacham (ankle) practiced on a limited basis and is probable as is safety Darren Sharper (knee).

I guess Childress is trying to take a page out of Payton's book by listing three of his four defensive ends on the injury report. If that is the game he is playing, he's failing miserably. He probably thinks that Payton will change his gameplan, but Payton is no idiot. He's going to be coming with the thunder no matter who plays and who doesn't.
