Two things that are killing me...........

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I can't take it anymore.....I have Sirius and they are killing me. Point 1: The Vikings will win because they destroyed the Cowboys and the Cowboys beat us at home while we were undefeated. Rebuttal 1: Freaking morons. Like that ...

Two things that are killing me...........

I can't take it anymore.....I have Sirius and they are killing me.

Point 1: The Vikings will win because they destroyed the Cowboys and the Cowboys beat us at home while we were undefeated.

Rebuttal 1: Freaking morons. Like that is a good way to determine a winner of a game. I guess they forgot about how the Cardinals smoked the Vikings and we absolutely manhandled the Cardinals. I guess that means the game will be a tie.

Point 2: They beat us 30-27 last year with 2 punt return TD's by Reggie so they only gave up 13 points to our vaunted offense.

Rebuttal 2: They must not remember this game very well. They had to kick a FG to beat us at the end after losing the lead in a game where they got 4 turnovers (+4 by the way cause our defense got none) and a blocked FG for a TD. Our defense actually held them to 270 yards and we outgained them by 100. There awesome defensive line got to Brees ONE whole time for a loss of 10.

Look, I understand the love for Farve but if you get paid to do analysis on games, do some. The Saints offensive line is every bit as talented as the Vikings defensive line. Goodwin, Evans and Stinch are all in the pro bowl and Nicks got robbed. Bushrod has had a few struggles but for the most part he has held his own more than capably against some of the best pass rushers in the league.

Bottom line stat is TURNOVERS. I'll say this just like I said it last week. If we come out in the plus with turnovers there will be a PARTY IN THE MIA with a lot of black and gold in the house!

One thing that has been bothering me about this Vikings game: 44-10 (1987 NFC Wild Card - Our 1st Ever Playoff Game)

Another thing this is bothering me about this Vikings game: The Brett Favre Circus! Everybody, including NFLN, has been d-rolling Favre around the clock, non-stop!!

I can't wait to see the Minnesota ChokeKings have their posteriors handed to them and see how STOOOOOOOOPID these Favre Smoochers would look!!

Re: Two things that are killing me...........

Very good analysis!

Turnovers have been key. The team with the greater # of turnovers lost every game so far in the playoffs. Note: Neither MN or NO had turnovers in their first game.

The other compelling stat is only one team was not ahead at the half and lost the game. The Jets-Chargers game with the Jets scoring 14 in the 4th.

Early scoring and TO's will tell the end. Should be interesting if neither team TO's and it's tied at half. Then it's sudden death OT, which will be determined on the coin flip.

Re: Two things that are killing me...........

hey everyone, not sure if you knew this but i'm a UK WHO DAT, i just wanted to say its exactly the same over here in Britain.
We get our sports talk from sky sports, and when i was at work today, they said the saints will have to play there best to keep up with the vikings, WTF?

also they showed every teams press conference except for the saints, plus they had about a 10 minute lovefest on favre himself. wanted to kick the TV in lol

Although i was very frustrated by that, i love the underdog scenario because it makes it that much better. For all Saints fans going to the game, please make as much noise as you can as i will be watching it from home ( in the process of saving money to come over and catch a couple of games)

And I will tell everyone that Sky Sports is the biggest load of crap. Heavily biased sports reporting and repetitive.
