(From espn.go.com) Chris Mortenson Reports:Although there have been reports that suspended cornerback Dale Carter might be banished for the balance of the season, don't be too shocked if he is reinstated to the New Orleans roster next week, sources tell ESPN.com. Commissioner Paul Tagliabue last week rejected Carter's application for reinstatement. But there are hints that the league expects Carter to serve six weeks away from the game, will revisit his situation after this weekend, and possibly allow him to return for the final 10 contests of the season.

Now if that pans out we will be a whole lot better real quick. That might make us dominant, especially if we start to get healthy Thomas and keyou. We will be dangerous. Oh please let it be true.

Let us all pray to the NFL GOds that this is true. This would eventually put the Saints in a whole new defensive catagory. The one thing that makes me believe this is it\'s by Mort.
He seems to be in the know about the league. I pray he does on this.

Still no Word? Has anyone seen or heard anymore on this story. Loomis was expecting a call this morning. Somebody bring back the petition.
