I Cried, I Admit It.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I cried as well . . . vindication of 42 years of ridecule, abuse, bag heads and being the butt of too many jokes. I am so drained the morning after I feel like I was in the game myself ...

First time I've ever cried myself to sleep over a good thing.

Definitely cried. Fell to the ground. Enveloped by my fiancee'. Complete shock for 5 minutes. Then straight to the bar for tequilla shots! LOL!
Work is gruesome today. I feel like I could throw up at any time now, but a Superbowl berth is worth it.

Re: I Cried, I Admit It.

i cried, but hell, i think everyone inside of that dome cried. Hell Jimmy Ott from baton rouge's 1210am sports radio sat infront of me, and he fell over his seat into our row and was on his hands and knees crying. people were crowd surfing, i teared up and then started almost sobbing thinking of all of the moments of joy in my life that were always swallowed up by the pain of the final lost during any specific season. Thoughts of all of the people including locals during the terrible years that would harass me for being a fan, and all in one moment it was like the troubles we deal with have been lifted off our shoulders forever. And I was there with my best buds. To say that I was emotional would be an understatement
