Was it as bad...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Even Aikmen said the personal foul on the hit after Favre handed off was a bad call. Poor officiating. Scott your bud light wasn't lying to you....

Xan, are you kidding me? The refs did everything legally possible to give the game to Faavra! The non-calls were just as bad. There were many flagrant holding violations that were not called against the Vikes. IMO the refs did a piss poor job.

Look for the zebra to give even more protection to Manning.

Re: Was it as bad...

The personal fouls on the hits on the QB both looked like horrible calls.

However, they did makeup for them by not calling the hit below the legs on Favre by McCray on the Vilma int. That call could have easily been made after the new rule was introduced to protect the QBs. I've seen the Brady rule overturn several turnovers throughout the year in games.

Finally though, in the end the Vikes had the bad call that hurt them the most on the pass interference that put the Saints that much closer for the game winning field goal.

I agree. I was telling my wife the same thing. Now we have two weeks of Peyton Manning love fest. We shall also overcome that!
