Went to college in Natchitoches ,and my home town, Leesville, is about 50 minutes south & west. If you go, see if Maggios is still open, and if it is buy a half-pint of Jack for me will ya?

I've never been to Leesville or any of those little "clubs" south of town where the army guys go. How would I even know about them? A friend told me. Obviously, some dude who looks like me was hanging around.

I was born in New Orleans and lived there until 1977 when I joined the Marine Corps. It's still my home and always will be. The people are the best in the world, the food is the best and now the football team is going to be the BEST! I remember listening to the games on the radio the first few years because they didn't ever come on TV. My fondest memory was listening to the kick by Tom Dempsey. I still cry whenever I recall that moment and now I'll have a another moment after we beat the Colts!
